Cartridge heaters can be built with various diameters, lengths, wattages, and voltages. They are widely used in molds and dies, plates, hot stamping, plastic molding, food processing, packaging machinery, sealing, extruders, crankcase heating, hot runner molds, hot melt adhesives, process tanks, laboratory apparatus, cleaning tanks, and die blocks.
A cartridge heater is an industrial heating element. It consists of an outer metal enclosure called a sheath containing resistive wiring separated from the sheath by electrical insulation. Most cartridge heaters are straight cylindrical tubes and have diameters designed to slide into holes drilled with metric drill sizes.   READ MORE
